Course Descriptions

On-site courses and training
A combination of on-site courses and training can be arranged. Courses can be tailored to your needs. For example, the first part of a course can be a general overview for lab managers and occasional (or prospective) users. This can then be followed by a more in-depth discussion for lab personnel and operators. Time can then be spent on equipment training. 

 

Consulting
Consulting services are also available. This can include selection of equipment, software, and personnel.

 

Handbook of X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)

This is a reference book of standard spectra for identification and interpretation of XPS data. It is available for purchase.

 

Handbook of Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES)

This is a reference book of standard spectra for identification and interpretation of AES data. It is available for purchase.

 

CasaXPS Manual

Surface Analysis Short Course Schedule for 2014

Dayton, Ohio, USA:

A Comprehensive Set of Short Courses on:
1. X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS/ESCA) including Data Processing;
2. Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) including Data Processing; and/or

Instructor

The courses are being taught by John T. Grant, who has over 40 years experience in surface analysis, and who has been teaching such courses for many years. He has been a Distinguished Research Scientist at the University of Dayton for over 30 years. He is co-editor of the book: Surface Analysis by Auger and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy.

 

The courses will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dayton, Ohio.
